Empress Josephine statue torn down
On Sunday 26 July 2020 in Fort de France in Martinique, the statue of the Empress Josephine was pulled down and irreparably destroyed by activists. Patronage > The restoration of the Emperor’s barge by the Musée de la Marine
The Emperor Napoleon I’s barge is currently undergoing a major restoration by the Musée de la Marine, after being deposited at the Musée de la Marine’s Brest site at the end of 2018, due to the Paris museum’s redevelopment work.
