Our exhibitions
The Fondation Napoléon is an important cultural institution, and its art and historical memorabilia collection includes genuine masterpieces dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries. Since 2003, various international events, ranging from Australia to Kazakhstan via Brazil, and of course France, have brought the Fondation international recognition.
Comprising more than 1,500 pieces, the Fondation Napoléon’s collection is particularly extensive. As a result, the Fondation often organises and participates in exhibitions. Since the collection includes furniture, paintings and ceramics as well as militaria, it can be used to illustrate the history of the Napoleonic periods via a variety of themes.
Exhibitions are organised on a partnership basis. In the curation of them, partner museums or institutions can benefit from, alongside the loan of collection, the technical and academic know-how of its staff.
