2021 Année Napoléon > French Embassy in Belarus

On May 5th 2021, the French Embassy in Belarus joins the Belarusian committees of uniform specialists of the Napoleonic period, partners in the re-enactment of the Russian retreat, to propose a presentation by law and political science students on Napoleon’s contributions to contemporary institutional history and the history of political ideas in Eastern Europe, a presentation of the French domains of St. Helena, a quiz, and a screening of the film Monsieur N in one of the largest movie theatres in Minsk. The best French-speaking high school and university students in Belarus will be invited to the event.

In partnership with the Belarusian committees of uniform specialists of the Napoleonic period, partners for the re-enactment of the Russian retreat, this screening will be accompanied by the participation of law and political science students on the contributions of Napoleon in contemporary institutional history and the history of political ideas in Eastern Europe.
A presentation of the French Domains on St Helena and a quiz will complete this screening of the film Monsieur N.
