PrEsentation of the Waterloo COMMUNE ECHEVINAT

The Waterloo Commune Echevinat (or Mayoral Bureau for Culture) has for these past thirty years ceaselessly sponsored initiatives encouraging interest and education with respect to Napoleonic history – this particular Belgian commune is not known worldwide for nothing! Hence, it is as part of the series known as “Grandes Conférences Historiques de Waterloo” (Waterloo’s Grand Historical Talks) that on 18 June 2021, the commune will host a major study day entitled “De Waterloo à Sainte-Hélène, le chemin de la Légende” (From Waterloo to St Helena: the stairway to the legend).
