Change in the rules for the Fondation Napoléon prizes and research grants

The bord of trustees of the Fondation Napoléon, meeting on 11 December 2019, has updated the rules for the prizes and research grants.

From 2020 on, two prizes will be awarded (a Grand Prix and a Jury Prize) and up to eight research grants (instead of seven). 

A further amendment has been unanimously passed to update the definition of the Jury Prize: this prize can from now on be awarded to an individual for their entire body of work, even if that individual has won a prize from the Fondation in the past.
