St Helena joins the “Ville impériale” network
St Helena joins the "Ville impériale" network in 2019.

On 5 July 2019, the island of St Helena joined the “Ville impériale” network. Created in 2011, this “label” brings together eighteen towns that posess and promote a heritage of the First and Second Empires. The Fondation Napoléon is delighted with this news for the historic island that saw the death of Napoleon I and which is home to its close partners, the French Domains of St Helena, and the Saint Helena Napoleonic Heritage Ltd.
